From time to time all of us get asked, “Whose camp are you in?”
The immediate answer we want to say is, “The Lord’s Camp?” But is that really an honest answer?
Here is a simple way to tell whose camp you are in.
1. Why do you do what you do?
2. Why do you act the way you do?
3. Why do you believe what you do?
4. Why do you work like you do?
5. Why do you give like you do?
So, what’s the answers? Is it because of the brethren? I heard an individual say recently, “Good men of god would never __________.” Regardless of the subject in question we do not live to magnify good men of God (whoever they may be), we live to magnify the Lord Jesus Christ.
A closing thought I want you to think about today is this: Was Evangelist Billy Sunday a good man of God? I think so too. He did a lot for the Lord. Did you know he was NEVER Scripturally baptized after his conversion [according to his biography]. Now with that being said, I do not mean to belittle Brother Sunday in no way. I just want to illustrate the point that he is just a man and men are not infallible, nor are they inerrant. We all sin and fall short of the Glory of God.
To be in the Lord’s Camp the answer to those five questions above has to be JESUS CHRIST, or you are not in His Camp. Saved and not in the Lord’s Camp is a possibility. In fact you are probably there now.
