“Well all that matters is that someone got saved.”

Have you ever heard this or said this before? If you have, read on.  If you believe this, sit down and read on.

If getting saved is all that matters in this life then all we need is one verse in the Bible (John 3:16) and forget the rest. Right? Wrong! We need the whole Bible, not just the getting saved.

Our churches are full of devils that have “made a profession” and all they hear are messages on “How To Be Saved” or “How to Get Saved” from John 3.  I have no problem with Gospel preaching, but why are churches that say the key phrase and have only “saved” people in the congregation continuing to preach salvation.

One pastor put it this way: “…it keeps down trouble, just too much to handle in a week.”

Another stated, “Just preach Jesus.”

Most that follow the first assessment never do anything for the Lord, the church never does much, and no one ever grows in the Lord or surrenders to full time service.

In the second assessment, Rodney King is the head of the church crying, “Why can’t we just get along?” We can get along, but knowing therefore the terror of the Lord we persuade men.

Preacher, let God use you to pastor the church He places you in.  Never be ran by the deacons, deacon’s wives, big money members, or even your wife.  Stay on tract for God and be moldable in the Master’s Hands.  Don’t have a ministry because there is a need.

You should only be in the ministry because God has called you.

Philippians 3:14

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
